Would anyone reading this be interested in purchasing commissioned art or snake oil pages from me?
Trying to think of ways to make some money to make the holidays a little easier.

One of my favorite writers on comics and books, Carrie, recently did little interview with me. Go HERE to read it.
Thanks, Carrie!
Also check out the Inkstuds blog where Carrie does comic reviews.
Oh and if you are on Facebook, there is now a Snake Oil Comics group if you care to join.
Melissa and I climbed a mountain yesterday.
a man farted at the top.
Review of Snake Oil 1 and 2 over at Try Harder.
So, that was probably the best SPX ever. Thank you to everyone who congratulated me over the weekend. There are so many cartoonists more deserving. All this makes me want to draw. so that’s what I am going to do.
I snagged this cover image(sorry/thanks fantagraphics) of the issue that I along with others graduated CCSers are appearing in. I got to see it over the weekend at the fantagraphics booth. It was super exciting to see us all in there. GOSH!
Hello my friends. Just a quick update. Snake Oil will be at SPX this weekend. Please come to the show. It will be awesome. I will not have snake oil 3 available since the slaves are still doodlin away at it. buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I will have a new mini-comic called DAFFY. It will be filled with various stuff I’ve done the last few years plus an all new strip called: I am not ok with this: The Death of Bright Path. It will be a mini comic but it will clock in around 60 pages so it should keep you entertained for at least 5 minutes. It will have a screen printed and hand-lettered cover and the guts will be on a grayish paper I have been saving for something special. no pics of it here yet. You’ll just have to come and see it. I’m sure it’ll be for sale in the webstore shortly after I return from SPX. As always I will be at the table with the SUNDAYS banner hanging on the front, right next to our friends at OPP with their better-designed books and music and smiles.
OH yeah, I forgot. The next issue of the Comics Journal (#293) will print my story, Mickey the Man, from Snake Oil #1 along with a bunch of folks from my class at the center for cartoon studies. Thanks to that publication’s editors for thinking that was a good idea.
and now i present you with a buff butt:

So I figured I’d make an official post about this. Snake Oil has been nominated in 3(!?) categories for the 2008 Ignatz Awards. They are Promising New Talent, Outstanding Series, and Outstanding Comic. The ceremony happens saturday night at the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD. I will be at the show tabling with my talented mates: Alex Kim(Wall City, Xeric), Sean Ford(Only Skin), and half of Joe Lambert(Turtle Keep it Steady). We’ll be right next to our friends at One Percent Press(as usual) at table G1. We are pretty close to the main entrance, which is awesome! I will have Snake Oil 1 and 2 for sale as well as a new mini(i hope) I’ll probably have some prints too. Of course, we’ll have copies of our anthology SUNDAYS 2 and a snazzy screenprinted bag if you buy one.
Remember kitty kats! You can buy Snake Oil at the webstore on your right or in the real world at the following fine establishments: Jim Hanley’s Universe, Forbidden Planet, Chicago Comics, Quimby’s, Comic Relief, Atomic Books, Heroes Are Hard To Find.
If you are a retailer or you would like your shop to carry Snake Oil Comics then please contact Tony Shenton for Wholesale: shenton4sales@aol.com
Oh and my friend/housemate/fellow cartooner, Colleen Frakes, drew me this awesome fan art for my birthday. Check it!
So I had a birthday the other day and my friends made it the most amazing day ever. I am the luckiest duck.
First, Melissa surprised me by taking me to see real life monsters.
